Tecmo Browns - Week 7

Here we go Brownies, Here we go!
BROWNS AND COLTS PLAY CHICKEN FOR 1ST DRAFT PICK
INDIANAPOLIS FAILS; ACCIDENTALLY WINS GAME.

21 Oct 2012
Indianapolis, IN

It seemed, with Cleveland and Indianapolis entering their Week 7 match-up a combined 8 losses, the real contest lay in who could lose and improve their chances in April's NFL Draft. In a bit of good news and bad news all rolled up into one, Cleveland's offensive ineptitude secured them another loss, increasing their standing for the 2013 NFL Draft.

Horrible OffensesAfter opening the first quarter with two strong drives--the first ending with a Weeden interception in Indianapolis' end zone and the other in a Phil Dawson field goal--the Browns seemed to lose their mojo, managing only 121 total yards. Indianapolis matched the Browns' bumble for bumble. Excepting their last drive, which fizzled as time expired, the "Colts Colts Colts" gained a paltry 105 yards.

Whether the defenses played well or the offenses played horribly is hard to say; both defenses got sack-happy. Indy's Cory Redding put the Colts in worse draft position, tallying 6 sacks. His final sack early in the 4th found Brandon Weeden eating turf in Cleveland's end zone, scoring the deciding safety.

GAMEBALL
"Mr. Automatic" scores the Browns' only points, providing the only ray of hope in a dreary game.
At Least Someone Scored Some Points...

BROWNS HIGHLIGHT
Uh...I suppose if I have to choose something, I may as well go with Phil Dawson again. At least he's doing well on someone's Fantasy Football team.:
