Gave this one a hundred pages before I packed it in. I enjoy some of Danielewski's other work but Tom's Crossing fully displays his tendency to over-write scenes. The dialect was more distracting than not. The characters weren't compelling enough, the prose not zippy enough to get me through 1,100 more pages.
