The Slowest Mouse in all of Mexico

Due to popular demand, Keith is Good presents the Warner Brothers Studio's 1959 Animated Short, "Mexicali Schmoes," only one of two appearances of Slowpoke Rodriguez, the slowest mouse in all of Mexico who carries a sidearm at all times.

The complete short can be found at:

Slowpoke affirms his Second Amendment rights at around the 6:20 mark. Although cut from the original film, I believe Slowpoke then shows his concealed carry license.

  1. Undoubtedly the most important cartoon ever animated. It shows all of us the dangers of gun control. Had the bloated overbearing government of Mexico taken Slow-Poke’s “shootin’ iron”, he would not have been able to live to be included in the Warner Brothers/Pepsi series of collectable mugs that graced the 1970’s. Those mugs were the only element of sanity left to combat the disco craze. So if you want to live in a disco crazy society then keep pushing for gun control and forget the lesions of Slow-Poke, otherwise cry out "remember Slow-Poke"! Keep the dream alive and pack heat!
